individual

An individual investor representing their own holdings. Eligibility is contingent upon maintaining a brokerage account at a Sharegate-supported brokerage and equity ownership (stock) in at least one publicly traded corporation on a stock exchange served by Sharegate. During our current beta test period, membership is by invitation only. Members may invite their friends or associates. Interested individual investors may request an invitation using the button below.

institution

An institution or organization engaged in the equity management of publicly traded corporations on a stock exchange supported on the Sharegate network. This would include mutual funds, pension funds, private equity firms, and other similar entities.

corporate

A publicly traded corporation listed on a stock exchange supported on Sharegate. Corporate memberships are typically maintained by investor relations departments or by officers authorized to communicate on behalf of the corporation.

affiliate

An organization desiring membership on Sharegate but does not meet the requirements for other existing memberships. These types of groups may include press outlets, regulatory organizations, or special interest groups.

academic

An accredited educational institution engaged in the instruction of subject matter related to finance, corporate governance, and investing. Academic memberships are requested and coordinated by the participant institution and are of fixed duration.
